About the role

As a Senior Manager Technical Supply Chain, you will be responsible to ensure successful and optimised operation of QE Supply Chain through an efficient and effective management of human, material resources and logistics while ensuring sustainability and continuity of the business by developing adequate processes and procedures.

Other key responsibilities are:

- Actively develop and implement strategies to improve service levels, lower overall maintenance costs, and increase internal efficiencies within the Technical Qatar Executive division.
- Control the planning, procurement, storage and supply of entire aircraft parts, components, material and equipment, to support scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities of entire Qatar Executive fleet.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that supply chain activities for QE Fleet are in compliance with QCAA and EASA regulations, while optimised to the highest efficiency and lowest cost impact.
- In charge of QE Technical procurement / tender processes and execution to establish third party contracts for aircraft maintenance activities, including liaising with QR Tech Procurement.
- Develop in-depth process for order delivery scheduling and transportation to ensure reduction of logistics costs and improve supply chain performance.
- Accountable for effective recruitment and management of the Supply chain and stock control teams.
- Acts as a high-level coordinator / conduit between QE Technical and QR Supply Chain resources to serve and achieve best possible results for QE Operation, business and common interest.
- Plan, control and administer the QE function budget.
- Manage the QE component repair cycle program ensuring high component availability.
- Ensure inventory is optimised to ensure the right balance of investment and stock holding.
- Acts as account manager for third party supply chain customers such as Bombardier aircraft.
- Responsible for the negotiations and preparation of all contracts concerning material purchase, component maintenance and the management of the repair cycle and the availability of serviceable units.
- Responsible for ensuring that all logístical activities are correctly certified and that all records are retained and stored safely for the designated statutory period.
- Responsible for the negotiations, preparation and managing supply chain shipping and handling contracts relating to QE commercial teams logístical needs.
- To perform material incoming inspection system developing MOE and TPM procedures and the economic store keeping of all materials.
- Continuously review RSPL, inventory / float levels to determine optimum part holding ensuring business cases are well prepared and justified.
- Ensure cabin standards are maintained to a “Five Star” standard and ensure mechanisms are in place to monitor and take necessary actions to minimize open defects with respect to IFE, cabin maintenance, and acceptable deferred defects.
- Review inventory on a regular basis and determine slow or non-moving parts, obsolete parts, and surplus materials that can be offered on sale, loan or exchange to other airlines or companies.
- As required, consult and liaise with the aircraft / component manufacturer and repair agencies regarding technical data to resolve or clarify issues related to the parts used during repairs of aircraft parts, tooling and other materials.
- Representing QE Technical and function as liaison with internal / external legal entities for contract purposes.
- Ensuring that all relevant airworthiness documents and certifications are received and processed in accordance with all QCAA/EASA statutory regulations.
- Ensures that all logistic practices and procedures are established in compliance with QCAA / EASA part 145 requirements and for establishing a quality system within QE to ensure that all logístical activities are accomplished to the highest standards.
- Management of all logistics comprising goods received, storage requirements, distribution of incoming and outgoing material, packing and shipping.
- Storage of all approved aircraft parts, components, material and equipment, to support the maintenance of aircraft and/or components. Supply of all approved aircraft parts, components, material and equipment to support all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.

- Ensuring for QE aircraft types that the right parts are held in the right place at the right time to ensure effective maintenance and aircraft reliability.
- Responsible for “Master Parts Data” on the ERP system with respect that all part numbers effective to QE fleet, include correct description, vendor code, aircraft effectivity, interchange ability, ATA chapter, essentiality code and other industry standard parameters as normally indicated on the system
