**Position: Draftsman - Elevator Installation Operations**
**Salary: QAR 6,000 to QAR 7,000**
**Location: Doha, Qatar**
**, Permanent**
**Working Hours: 8 hours per day**
**Working Days: 6 days a week**

We are seeking a talented and experienced **Draftsman** to join our team in Qatar. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse technical and operational projects in the **New Installation Operations** department of the elevator industry.

**About You**:

- Do you have at least **5 years of drafting experience** in the Elevator and Construction industries?
- Are you skilled at **analyzing, reviewing, and creating technical drawings** with precision?
- Are you able to **collaborate professionally with customers and contractors** to ensure project success?

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Collaboration with Engineers**: Work closely with engineers to ensure technical drawings meet required drafting standards and documentation guidelines.
- **Pre-Sales Support**: Prepare preliminary sketches and enquiry drawings during the pre-sales phase, assisting in project planning.
- **Revision and Updates**: Revise and update general arrangement drawings as needed, reflecting project changes.
- **As-Built Drawings**: Create detailed, accurate as-built drawings that capture all final installation details.
- **Documentation Management**: Maintain and systematically document all drawing revisions, copies, and related files for easy retrieval.
- **Site Analysis and Solutions**: Analyze site variations and propose tailored solutions to ensure smooth project execution.
- **Factory and Client Specifications Comparison**: Compare factory drawings to client specifications, identifying and addressing discrepancies promptly.
- **Technical Assistance**: Provide timely and effective technical support and solutions to the installation team.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with **HSE policies**, **IMS standards**, corporate guidelines, and all relevant local and legal regulations.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- **Diploma in Draftsmanship**, preferably in **Mechanical Engineering**.
- Additional certifications in related fields will be an advantage.
- **Experience**:

- A minimum of **5 years** professional drafting experience, with at least **3 years in the elevator industry or EPC projects**.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in **CADD software** and a strong technical background in elevator systems and construction.
- **Communication Skills**:

- Excellent **oral and written communication** skills to effectively communicate with internal teams, customers, and contractors.
