**Financial Accoutant ( Qualified CA )**:
The **purpose** of this post is to:

- Prepare, develop and analyze management accounting information
- Provide high quality support service to line managers/officers in the organization

**Reports to**: Finance Manager

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Leading a team of staff responsible for the production of management accounts
- Finalization of books of accounts in coordination with the auditors.
- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and other subsidiary ledgers.
- Prepare profit and loss statements in line with the company accounting policy and the International accounting standards and monthly closing of books of accounts within the time stipulated by the management.
- Preparation of management information system, monthly cash flow statement within the time stipulated by the management.
- Monitor and review general ledger, debtors ledger and creditors ledger for accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and review that the supplier’s bills are passed for payments accurately and timely.
- Monitor and review that the Sales invoices are made with reference to sale orders.
- Capitalisation of fixed assets accurately and timely.
- Preparation of budgets and report the variances with respect to the forecast.

**Ideal person specification**
- A recognised professional accounting qualification for example:

- CA (Chartered Accountant)

with a thorough practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques. The ability to manage and motivate a team.
- High degree of communication skills particularly attuned to working well with non-finance professionals.
- Used to working in fast moving environments providing accurate and timely information to a high standard
- 3+ yearS working experience post qualification with GCC experience is must. Oil, Gas industry.
