**Job Overview**: As a Commis Pastry, you will be an integral part of our pastry kitchen, supporting the team in creating high-quality pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. You will assist with preparation, baking, and presentation while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Preparation**: Assist in the preparation of pastry ingredients, including measuring, mixing, and whipping as directed by the Pastry Chef.
- **Production**: Help with the production of pastries, cakes, tarts, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards.
- **Baking**: Operate ovens and other baking equipment, ensuring proper temperature and timing for each item.
- **Decoration**: Assist with the decoration and presentation of finished products, ensuring they meet aesthetic and quality standards.
- **Cleaning**: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, including washing utensils, equipment, and work surfaces.
- **Stock Management**: Assist in managing inventory by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or spoilage.
- **Compliance**: Follow health and safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices, including proper handling of food and equipment.
- **Team Support**: Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and assist with tasks in different areas of the kitchen as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Culinary diploma or equivalent training in pastry arts preferred.
- **Skills**: Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- **Personal Traits**: Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a hot kitchen environment.

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
