Cable Jointers

**CABLE JOINTERS (with Qatar Driver License)**
We are looking for a Cable jointers who make and repair joins in insulated power supply and control cables installed in underground pipes, trenches and overhead systems. They also prepare cable terminations for electrical equipment and overhead lines. Cable jointers also install and maintain underground electrical and communication cables in city and country areas, new housing estates and industrial centre.

**Responsibilities**
- Cable Jointer Trade certificate after after 10th "Grade" passing with technical Qualification
- At least 5 years of MV and LV Cable Jointing.
- Prepare low
- and high-voltage cable joints and cable terminations while connecting and installing electrical equipment and overhead lines
- More than 6 years experience in Electricity Power Sector.
- Must have Qatar Driver License.
- English and Arabic speaker
- Can read, write, understand and communicate in both language required
- Must have valid Qatar driving license
- Capable to work in hot & humid conditions.
- Pull electrical cables through underground pipes or conduits and join cables in transmission and distribution systems.
- Test and locate cable faults, and maintain and repair cables
- Update location diagrams for the layout of cable systems
- Ensure that conductors are correctly connected between sub-stations and customers' premises when installing and making repairs
- Assist with manufacturing and preparing cable jointing components
- Dig trenches and service pits or tunnels
- Encase cables in protective covers.
- Must be here in Qatar with valid QID & NOC.
- Can join immediately.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
