HR/payroll Specialist

Job Summary:
Responsible for managing and processing all aspects of payroll for the organization. Ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees while complying with Qatar's labor laws and company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing:Gather and validate timekeeping data and attendance records.
Calculate and process employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and overtime.
Ensure accurate deductions for taxes, insurance, social security, etc.
Process payments through the chosen payroll system or method.
Handle salary discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues.
- Compliance:Stay updated with Qatar's labor laws and regulations related to payroll and taxation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding payroll practices.
Prepare and submit required payroll reports to government authorities.
- HR Administration:Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, attendance, and leave records.
Assist in onboarding new employees, including payroll setup and orientation.
Manage employee leave entitlements.
- Data Management:Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll data.
Perform regular audits to verify data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management review.
- Communication:Communicate with employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.
Coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., Finance, HR, IT) to ensure seamless payroll processing.
- Continuous Improvement:Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Stay updated with industry best practices and payroll software advancements.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
- Familiarity with Qatar's labor laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of payroll ERP System.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
**Salary**: From QAR6,000.00 per month
