**Job Summary**:
Lead Electrical engineer will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation and operation of electrical systems on construction projects. He will lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians, providing technical expertise, guidance, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

**Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to)**:

- Lead and manage the electrical engineering team on assigned construction projects.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with codes and standards.
- Develop and implement electrical construction plans and procedures, including load calculations, grounding and bonding strategies, and temporary power plans.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Identify and resolve electrical engineering problems during construction.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation, including as-built drawings and test reports.
- Manage project budgets and timelines for assigned electrical work.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team.
- Select and recommend materials, equipment, and technologies that meet project requirements
- Develop or update project estimates, proposals, budgets, and schedules for projects
- Review client proposals for feasibility and providing recommendations for changes if necessary
- Maintain records of all work performed on a project by the electrical engineering team members to ensure compliance with applicable codes
- Prepare construction drawings and diagrams to document the electrical design of a project
- Supervise and manage the work of other electrical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors
- Evaluate the electrical engineering needs of a project and developing an outline of the scope of work required to complete it
- Review blueprints or other design documents prepared by architects or other designers to ensure compliance with electrical engineering standards
- Produce designs, specifications and documentation for systems and backing equipment, including generators, switchboards, transformers, converters, motors, energy storage, cabling etc.
- Review technical drawings, documents and electrical schematics for technical compliance and functionality.
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Ensure execution of design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
- Providing technical leadership to personnel backup the assigned project

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in electrical engineering with at least 5 years in a lead role.
- Must possess UPDA grade A
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, including power systems, lighting, control systems, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in construction project management software.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest electrical engineering technologies and best practices.

**Salary**: QAR5.00 - QAR6.00 per month
