Our Client, an EPC Contractor in Qatar who is currently working in Oil & Gas project and doing maintenance, revamp, shutdowns and fabrication is seeking to hire a **Site Lifting Specialist (Onshore & Offshore) **for its EPC project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote Safe Handling and Lifting Operations referring to Company HSE policy and international standards.
- Supervise as Client Lifting Representative Offshore as required during Campaign, Construction, and Shutdown Execution.
- Ensures the promotion/implementation of Company Lifting & Handling procedures and safety culture on site.
- Assess, analyze, plan and adjust lifting operations on site in line with Company standards Advise Contractor’s objectives and expectations for HSE, accountability, and performance of Lifting Activity.
- Maintain a systematic and methodological approach to Lifting Operations and assist Company CPLO by establishing a reliable system of documentation, processes, and personnel competency assurance. Ensure flawless operation of Lifting and continuous improvement during offshore installation.
- Participates in the definitions of the Company Lifting & Handling procedures and participates in the internal audits on behalf of CPLO
- Participates in the Coaching, Mentoring, and Training of Rigging Foremen, Chargehands, and Riggers.
- Provide expertise in daily handling & lifting activities including Categorization of lifts
- Risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Assist Company CPLO in technical review of lifting operations
- Selection of equipment for lifting operations.
- Post-job debriefs.
- Review of generic lift plans
- Promote safe handling and lifting operation referring Company HSE police and international standard, review engineering calculations for complex and complicated lifts Review complicated and complex lift plans and attend to the lifts.
- Perform condition check and fitness for purpose on lifting appliances, CCUs, and evaluate their utilization on site
- Provide lifting and handling expertise advice to all HSE Site Authority (HSE-SA) and HSE-SD To be involved in plans for internal audits of the lifting operations, participate in lifting operations incident investigation and analyses

**Job Requirements**:

- Engineering Degree.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience Planning/Scheduling in the oil and gas industry, and a minimum of 5 years experience in managing a Planning/Scheduling department.
- Strong correspondence capability.
- Hands on experience in Project Planning packages like Primavera.

**Salary**: From QAR18,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- lifting operations: 5 years (required)
- Oil & Gas: 5 years (required)
