Ophthalmology Consultant

Conduct comprehensive consultations and assessments of patients presenting with ENT-related symptoms and conditions.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including endoscopies, audiograms, and imaging studies, to accurately diagnose ENT disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, incorporating medical, surgical, and/or therapeutic interventions.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, sinus surgeries, and tympanoplasties, as required.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing ENT surgeries, monitoring their progress and managing any complications.
- Collaborate with other medical specialists, including audiologists, speech therapists, oncologists, and radiologists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Stay abreast of advancements in ENT medicine and surgical techniques through continuous medical education and professional development activities.
- Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to medical knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Medical degree from a recognized institution, with specialization in Otolaryngology (ENT).
- Board certification or equivalent accreditation in Otolaryngology.
- Valid medical license to practice as an ENT Consultant in Qatar.
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience in diagnosing and treating ENT disorders, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of ENT surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make informed clinical decisions.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and upholding the highest standards of medical ethics.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous but not required.
