**Position Overview**:
As a Procurement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of goods and services essential to our operations. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing procurement processes to minimize costs while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Source suppliers, evaluate proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage reorder processes to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support and guidance.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory requirements impacting procurement activities.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management roles.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective vendor relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of procurement best practices and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or similar certification preferred.
