LEGAL

Primary purpose of job

Provide legal support for QatarEnergy’s domestic & international exploration & production ventures (“E&P Activities”),

covering business development (e.g. initial opportunity screening, due diligence, deal structuring, drafting & negotiation of

all relevant agreements, regulatory approvals and venture set-up) as well as the management of existing ventures.

Experience & Skills
- At least ten years of legal experience (not necessarily post-qualification) in private practice or in-house, a substantial

amount of which is in relation to E&P Activities;
- Experience of dealing with regulators and government representatives;
- Ability to assimilate complex legal matters and to provide practical advice to non-lawyers;
- Effective communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player with members of the Legal Department, as well as

other stakeholders;
- Highly motivated, proactive, organized, and self-disciplined.

Education
- JD/LLB (or equivalent) degree at a recognized university.
