**Qualification**:
1. **Civil permit Technician**: Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited College / University.

2. **Mechanical permit Technician**: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited College / University

3. **Electrical permit Technician**: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an accredited College / University

4. **Instrument permit Technician**: Diploma in Instrument Engineering from an accredited College / University

**Experience**:

- Minimum of ten (15) years’ experience in permit processing, regulatory compliance, or a related role within Oil and Gas Operating Plants.
- Five (5) years in Brownfield Engineering & Construction projects.
- Good knowledge on Microsoft office suites.
- Experience with the e-PTW system is considered an advantage.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The duties include but not limited to:
1. Permit Application and Renewal Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies to facilitate the timely approval of permits and address any inquiries or requirements.
- Maintain a detailed schedule of permit expiration dates and submission deadlines to ensure continuous compliance.

2. Regulatory Compliance and Safety:

- Stay informed about current and regulations, and industry standards that impact company operations, including safety regulations.
- Conduct periodic reviews to verify that operational activities comply with permit conditions, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all required safety certifications (e.g., confined space entry, isolation certificates) are obtained and maintained for relevant personnel and operations.
- Specifically manage isolation certificates within the permit system, ensuring proper isolation procedures are in place for civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation activities.

3. Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Risk Assessments (RA):

- Collaborate with safety and operations teams to conduct Job Hazard Analyses for various tasks and projects and participate in Risk assessments (as applicable).
- Identify potential hazards and recommend control measures to reduce risks associated with civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work.

4. Internal Coordination:

- Collaborate with safety and operations teams to conduct Job Hazard Analyses for various tasks and projects and participate in Risk assessments (as applicable).
- Work closely with operations, engineering, environmental, safety, legal, and project management teams to gather information necessary for permitting and safety compliance.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on permitting requirements, safety certifications, isolation procedures, and timelines, influencing project planning and execution to ensure compliance.
- Develop and deliver training sessions or informational materials to educate staff on permitting processes, safety protocols, JHA procedures, isolation activities, and compliance obligations.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:

- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and industry partners to coordinate joint permitting efforts or share relevant information.
- Participate in public meetings or community outreach initiatives related to permitting activities, representing the company’s interests and addressing community concerns.
- Proactively identify and resolve any conflicts or challenges that arise during the permitting process, negotiating solutions that satisfy regulatory requirements and company objectives.

6. Documentation and Record-Keeping:

- Establish and maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for all permits, licenses, safety certifications, isolation certificates, JHA documents, correspondence, concurrences, and related materials.
- Ensure all permit and safety information is accurately recorded in company databases and management systems for easy retrieval and reporting.
