Female Barista

Coffee Preparation:
Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, AeroPress, and

specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and techniques.
- Dial in espresso shots, adjust grind settings, and monitor extraction times to ensure optimal

flavor profiles and quality.
- Steam and texture milk to create velvety macrofoam for lattes, cappuccinos, and other

espresso-based drinks.
- Execute latte art techniques to enhance the presentation of beverages and delight

customers.

Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly, engage with them in a friendly and attentive manner, and provide

recommendations based on their preferences.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods, fostering an

appreciation for specialty coffee.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and

efficiency, striving to exceed expectations.

Café Operations:
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café, including the coffee bar, brewing

stations, and seating areas, according to health and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, notifying

management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Assist with restocking shelves, refrigerators, and display cases, ensuring that products are

attractively presented and readily available for purchase.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and

brewers, following manufacturer guidelines and performing routine cleaning and

maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop or café, with a passion for coffee

and a commitment to excellence.
- Knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles, as well as different

brewing techniques and extraction principles.
- Proficiency in espresso preparation, milk steaming, and latte art, with a keen eye for detail

and presentation.
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to

communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain

composure under pressure.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and

opportunities.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays,

as needed.
- Food handler's certification and/or barista training accreditation preferred

Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in using POS (Point of Sale) systems and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of specialty coffee industry certifications (e.g., SCA Barista Skills).
- Experience in staff scheduling and labor management.
- Understanding of cost control measures and inventory management principles.
- Understanding of specialty coffee industry standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash handling procedures.
- Commitment to upholding the café's values of quality, sustainability, and community

engagement.
- Creative flair for developing signature drinks and seasonal menu offerings.

Pay: QAR1,000.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
