**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cost Control Engineer to join our Facilities Management team. The Cost Control Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project costs, preparing cost reports, and ensuring that facilities management projects are executed within the allocated budget. This position will play a vital role in optimizing operational efficiency, managing resources, and ensuring financial accountability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation & Budgeting**:

- Prepare and review cost estimates for facilities management projects, ensuring they are aligned with the scope of work and resources available.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure that projects are delivered within budget constraints.
- **Cost Control & Monitoring**:

- Implement cost control procedures to monitor and control expenditures for facilities management services and projects.
- Track and analyze cost variations, providing explanations and corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepare cost reports on a regular basis (weekly, monthly), outlining project status, financial forecasts, and any cost deviations.
- **Forecasting**:

- Analyze and forecast cost trends, advising management on potential risks, opportunities, or deviations from the original budget.
- Provide recommendations to optimize costs without compromising quality or operational efficiency.
- **Procurement & Vendor Management**:

- Oversee procurement processes for the necessary materials, equipment, and services.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure that contracts and procurement agreements are executed within budget and on time.
- **Contract Management**:

- Support the management and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with financial terms and project timelines.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts with service providers and vendors.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Prepare and present financial reports for management, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for cost control activities.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**:

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective cost management.
- Coordinate with the facilities management team to align on budgetary constraints and cost-saving strategies.
- **Audit & Compliance**:

- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with financial controls and project budgets.
- Ensure all project-related costs are compliant with relevant regulations, standards, and policies.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost control or financial management, preferably in facilities management, construction, or related industries.
- Experience working on large-scale facilities management projects and understanding of cost control in facility maintenance, renovation, and operations.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of cost control techniques, financial reporting, and project management principles.
- Proficient in using cost control software and MS Excel (advanced level).
- Knowledge of facilities management operations, including maintenance, service contracts, and vendor management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
