**Offshore Geophysicist (Level 1)**

Job Title: Offshore Geophysicist (Level 1)

- Conduct overall supervision and management of geophysical exploration operations on behalf of the operator in accordance with the contract;
- Collection and preparation of relevant materials before construction, demonstration of construction design and preparation of construction design documents;
- Be responsible for the inspection of ship and equipment, personnel qualification verification and HSE status of service providers in the early stage of geophysical exploration operations;
- Responsible for the management, communication and coordination of on-site operations, and responsible for the safety, management, division of labor and task arrangement of on-site supervision;
- Transfer data as required after the completion of the operation, and be responsible for the preparation of geophysical supervision reports;
- Analyze and deal with complex situations in testing operations, analyze and deal with the causes of accidents in the process of collecting and sorting out geophysical exploration
- Process, processing results and other data and form cases;
- Participate in the research of new tools and equipment, and the research and development of new technologies;
- Participate in the preparation of geophysical operation instructions or other major technical literature;
**Requirements**:
1) Obtain valid employment qualification certificates, such as crew training certificate, crew competency certificate, health certificate and other relevant documents and technical qualification certificate.

2) For those whose mother tongue is not English, the English certificate requires IELTS/TOEFL or English language proficiency certificate.

3) More than 15 years of supervision or field related professional work experience. At least 5 years of experience in overseas geophysical exploration projects, or at least 5 years of working experience in foreign companies related to geophysical exploration acquisition services.

4) Proficient in the use of MESA, CGG, LANDMARK and other geophysical exploration professional software, capable of using office software for daily reports, proficient in the preparation of geophysical exploration acquisition construction design and geophysical acquisition project summary report.

5) Working experience in different geophysical exploration acquisition construction modes such as land, streamer, submarine cable and submarine node is preferred.

6) Major in exploration technology and engineering and geophysics, with a bachelor's degree or above in petroleum geophysical exploration.
