**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Gypsum Installation**:

- Install gypsum boards (drywall) on walls and ceilings, ensuring a secure, smooth finish.
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall joints to achieve a seamless surface ready for painting.
- Repair damaged drywall and ensure flawless finishes across the board.
- **Plastering**:

- Create textured finishes or smooth surfaces as per project requirements.
- Repair or patch plastered surfaces as needed to restore a uniform appearance.
- **Painting**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and cleaning.
- Ensure a high-quality paint job with no streaks, bubbles, or imperfections.
- Select and mix paints, primers, and other finishes suitable for the project and surface type.
- **Surface Preparation**:

- Properly prepare surfaces for plastering, painting, and gypsum installation, ensuring all areas are free of debris, grease, and other contaminants.
- Mask off areas that should not be painted or plastered, ensuring clean lines and preventing splatter.
- Sand and smooth surfaces to create a perfect foundation for further work.
- **Quality Control and Inspection**:

- Regularly inspect completed work for consistency, quality, and uniformity in finish.
- Address imperfections, patch up minor holes, and ensure the project meets the required specifications.
- Perform touch-ups and final inspections to ensure all surfaces meet high standards of craftsmanship.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow all safety regulations, ensuring the safe use of tools and equipment.
- Use protective gear (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, masks, and knee pads when necessary.
- Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- **Cleanup and Maintenance**:

- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project.
- Properly dispose of any waste materials, including paint containers and plaster.
- Clean tools and equipment after each use and store them in an organized manner.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as a mason with a focus on gypsum installation, plastering, and painting.
- Strong knowledge of different types of gypsum, plastering techniques, and paint finishes.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient with the use of tools for gypsum installation, plastering, and painting.
- Familiarity with various surface preparation techniques and finishing styles.
- **Attention to Detail**:

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, professional finishes.
- **Physical Ability**:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Comfortable working in various positions (e.g., standing, bending, kneeling) and in confined spaces.
- **Communication Skills**:

- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with supervisors and other workers.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or apprenticeship in gypsum installation, plastering, or painting is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in gypsum work, plastering, and painting.
