**Position Summary**:
We are seeking for Estimator for the Carpentry Shop he will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for custom woodworking and carpentry projects. This role involves analyzing project requirements, assessing materials and labor costs, and collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and precise pricing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation & Analysis**:

- Review project drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted services.
- Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with industry standards.
- **Client & Stakeholder Collaboration**:

- Communicate with clients to understand project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Address client inquiries related to estimates and revisions promptly.
- **Vendor & Supplier Coordination**:

- Source and evaluate pricing from material suppliers and subcontractors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key vendors for cost efficiency and quality.
- **Project Coordination & Documentation**:

- Work closely with the carpentry team to understand production capabilities and constraints.
- Develop detailed proposals and bid packages for submission to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, project documents, and communications.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Monitor market trends and pricing for carpentry materials and labor.
- Analyze completed projects to compare actual costs against estimates, refining future pricing strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or GED required; a degree or certification in construction management, carpentry, or a related field is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in carpentry, woodworking, or construction estimating.
- Familiarity with custom furniture, cabinetry, or millwork is highly desirable.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Experience with estimating software.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and techniques.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office and workshop environment with occasional site visits.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- May require occasional lifting of materials or tools
