(Senior) Producer and Videographer

Conceive, create, develop, improvise and produce high quality & creative, motion graphic assets including animations/VFX for academic & corporate domains.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the video production process, including planning, budgeting, creating, processing and editing videos for a wide variety of distribution channels.
- Ensure visuals and interactive elements in a project are properly aligned with values, creative vision and brand guidelines of QU.
- Direct video production ranging from single-camera productions to multi-camera field and studio productions.
- Mentor and supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, script writers, social media experts, videographers, and project managers in the development of motion graphic assets and deliverables.
- Lead regular brainstorming sessions with designers, art directors, writers, editors, developers and technical crew to arise with creative and innovative concepts for clients and support team to develop actionable creative solutions to business/education challenges.
- Build, lead, and review work of the creative team in the production of multi-platform stories and report stories in appropriate forms for broadcast (live on-air, copy, actuality, cut & copy, voicer, wrap, feature, series, documentary, studio, etc.)
- Select and research topics; contact and interview sources, maintain notes and video recordings, write and edit reports, produce and shoot video reports for air and digital distribution.
- Generate regular reports updating the respective section head and relevant stakeholders about the current and ongoing status of the projects.
- Research, request and implement new video production technologies, techniques and processes.
- Support in the implementation and updates of DLOE strategic plan.
- Collects and documents all the necessary data for reporting purposes.
- Perform other tasks and duties that may be occasionally required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the University.

Qualifications Minimum:

- B.S.in Multimedia, TV, Film, Mass Media or related field.
- Preferred:

- M.S.in Multimedia, TV, Film, Mass Media or related field.
