- Must have Extensive experience and knowledge in Safety Inspection.
- Ensure existence and awareness of a suitable and relevant health and safety policy at each site to create a safe workplace without risk to health.
- Understand the work conditions, training need analysis and develop training modules, suitable to our work culture and successfully implement the same so as to upgrade the HSE standards of respective operations.
- Ensure that adequate provision of emergency procedures, first-aid facilities, safety signs, relevant protective safety gears, equipment’s and clothing are provided to staff and implement effective incident reporting systems to the relevant authorities.
- Implement HACCP & HSE standards in the kitchen and surrounding areas and conduct health & safety audit at Food Service Operations.
- Provide suitable information and supervision concerning health and safety policies and practices and implement HSE training at each site and conduct health & safety audit at each operation.
- Ensure that proper and timely assessment of risks to health and safety in completed and preventive measures and arrangements are implemented as necessary.
- To evaluate HSE training effectiveness on monthly basis by conducting training assessment wherever applicable and asked to do so.
- Coordinate as necessary with clients’ representative, suppliers and relevant authorities for assistance and cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions.
- Ensure prevention and precautions against, or adequate control of, exposure to hazardous substances and danger from flammable, explosive, electrical, noise, radiation and manual handling risks.
- Close observation and reporting on HSE and HACCP practices and systems, manage HSE data, completing trend analysis and assist HSE Manager on required action.
- Ensure adequate and appropriate provision of emergency procedures, first-aid facilities, safety signs, relevant protective safety gears, equipment’s and clothing are provided at work sites.
- Actively participate in the scheduling of safety meetings across company locations to review HSE performance and policies.
- Provide timely advice in respect to appropriate Safety Management & Performance evaluations to ensure the avoidance of Safety Violations.
- Implement Health Safety and Environmental activities at all business units ensuring their alignment with company standards, local rules and regulations and international practice.
- Stay up-to-date of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position and have close observation and reporting on HSE practices and systems, HSE data, complaints trend analysis.
- Conduct the critical auditing, inspections and surprise visits / checks.
- Assist in the implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the incident and ensure “lessons learned” are communicated throughout the Company and are incorporated into the program, if necessary.
- Support and assist project team in investigation of the Food Safety issues, Job Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment, Environmental monitoring and Incident investigation analysis and ensure proper records are completed and submitted.
- Review compliance with HSE Standards.
- To take disciplinary actions on any level of staffs from management due to finding violating any safety standards set by Qatar regulation, international standards & procedures, to issue penalty with disciplinary action against any bad behavior, sabotage and creating unsafe work condition within the workplace.
