**Cyber Security Sr.Technician**

Qualifications:

- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or GIAC are preferred.
- Proven experience in cyber security technician roles, with a focus on
- implementation and maintenance of security controls.
- Strong technical skills in cyber security tools and technologies, including firewalls,
- IDS/IPS, antivirus software, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
- Familiarity with cyber security frameworks and standards, such as NIST
- Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security technician roles, with demonstrated progression to senior responsibilities.
- Experience working in industrial or plant environments is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work in challenging and dynamic environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to security incidents as needed

**Scope**
- Manage and execute cyber security tasks and projects within Dukhan and Mesaieed Operations.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of cyber security measures to safeguard critical assets and information.
- Work closely with OMS(R) section for all cybersecurity matters related to projects and routine maintenance activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintenance and routine activities of the cybersecurity solutions deployed at site
- Corrective Maintenance
- Preventive Maintenance
- Patch Management
- Antivirus Updates
- Applications Whitelisting
- Network Monitoring
- Anomaly Detection
- Online / Offline / Offsite backup
- Firewall rules management (add/modify/review/cleanup)
- Domain users’ management; Domain policy management
- System Hardening
- Local Incident Response in case of Cybersecurity Incident
- Investigate and respond to alerts from SOC.
- Install, configure, and maintain cyber security tools and technologies, including
- firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint
- protection solutions.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches, performing forensic analysis and
- implementing remediation actions to contain and mitigate the impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement security
- controls and measures in alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures
- (SOPs), technical manuals, and incident response plans.
- Provide guidance and support to junior technicians on cyber security tasks and procedures.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats and security trends, researching and evaluating new technologies and methodologies to enhance cyber security defenses.
- Participate in incident response exercises and drills to test and validate cyber security incident response plans.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and auditors during cyber security assessments and compliance audits.
