**Job Overview**:
The ELV Systems Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems in various settings, such as commercial buildings, residential complexes, and industrial facilities. They specialize in working with low-voltage systems, including but not limited to CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems, access control systems, audio-visual systems, data networks, PA/BGM Systems, Audio/Video Intercom Systems, Gate Barriers & Speed Gate Systems, etc.

**Responsibilities**:
v Install, configure, and troubleshoot ELV systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.

v Support Engineers in site surveys to assess the requirements and feasibility of ELV system installations.

v Support Engineers to prepare accurate documentation, including work reports, service records, and as-built drawings.

v Perform cable pulling, termination, and testing for various ELV systems, including structured cabling, fiber optics, and coaxial cables.

v Set up and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs (Digital Video Recorders), and monitoring software.

v Install and program access control systems, such as card readers, biometric devices, and electronic locks.

v Assist in the installation and integration of audio-visual systems, including projectors, speakers, and control panels.

v Installation and integration of PA/BGM systems, such as speakers, Amplifiers, and Remote Microphones.

v Install and program Gate Barriers and speed gates.

v Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in ELV systems, utilizing testing equipment and diagnostic tools.

v Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system inspections, cleaning, and software/firmware updates.

v Coordinate with other technicians and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.

**Requirements**:
v High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in electronics, telecommunications, or related fields are advantageous.

v Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, & repair of ELV systems, preferably in a similar role.

v Strong knowledge of ELV system components, wiring, and configurations.

v Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as MOI-SSD regulations for CCTV systems.

v Proficiency in using testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools for installation and troubleshooting purposes.

v Good understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, and PoE.

v Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

v Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve system issues.

v Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.

v Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

v Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
