**Rixos Qetaifan Island North**

Opening in 2023, Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

**Asst. Pool & Beach Manager**

This position ensures Areas of responsibility include Restaurants/Bars and Room Service, if applicable. Assists in the daily supervision of restaurant operations and assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction. Determines training needed to accomplish goals, then implements plan.

**What you will be doing**:

- Coordinate daily bar and restaurant management operations.
- Deliver superior food & beverage service and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints.
- Ensure that all employees are properly trained on the Sequence of Service and on Corporate Policies, ensuring that they are efficient, courteous, respectful of others and knowledgeable in all aspects of food, beverage, and service standards.
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings at the start of every shift.
- Provide constant floor supervision to achieve desired objectives and maintain corporate standards for quality and service.
- Communicate all guest feedback, both positive and negative, with the Restaurant Manager
- Ensure all Direct operating costs (food and beverage, labour, Entertainment, Business Promotions, Sales & Marketing, Laundry, Utilities etc..) are in line with budget expectations.
- Approve the weekly schedule for all employees as recommended by the Supervisor.
- Ensure that staffing is adequate to meet demands of business.
- Proactively address and implement strategic solutions to changes in sales trends.
- Train the Front of House, supervisors and bartenders with the objective of developing a strong management team to manage the restaurant while providing an opportunity to individual bartenders for personal career growth.
- Evaluate the performance of the bar team. Initiate plans for career progression.
- Effectively delegate duties and responsibilities down the organizational line and consistently follow-up to secure results.
- Participate in community activities to promote good corporate image.
- Maximize sales and profitability through professional execution of approved promotions.
- Assure all established operating policies, procedures, and systems are followed ( e.g. specified product purchased, document and reports are completed on time, staff schedules are posted, etc).
- Participate in the development of financial budgets and in the preparation of a business plan for the restaurant.
- Perform quarterly operations reviews and implement corrective measures.
- Stay abreast of competitors’ activity, and marketing strategy, and report data to the Restaurant Manager.
- Ensure daily variance counts and weekly inventories are correctly processed.
- Complete all daily and weekly reports. i.e. Daily Log Book, Daily Sales report, Promotions report.
- Maintain and practice fire and security systems and procedures.
- Possess working knowledge of government codes, Policies, and regulations as they impact the business.

**Your experience and skills include**:

- College Degree in Hotel Management
- 3 years of management experience in Restaurant Management or management experience from combined relevant areas Organizational skills
- Information system knowledge
- Food and Beverage knowledge
- Bar trend knowledge
- Wine knowledge
- Guest focus
- Problem-solving skills
