Deck Crew Rigger Offshore

**Job Purpose**:
This position is a unique opportunity to Acts as assistant to Deck Foreman in supervising Multi Task Deck Crew. Performs all tasks in a safe and efficient manner and performs Daily & weekly scaffolding checks.

**Your main duties will be to**:
- Assist Fuel/Water/MEG bunkering from supply Vessel and Assist in Pigging /PLT operation.
- General Deck duties, Scaffolding / Rigging / Slinging / Banksman / Material Handling

and the safe loading / unloading of supply vessels. Forms part of a Multi-Task Deck
Crew.
- General cleaning - including High Pressure washing as required.
- Assisting in carrying out any maintenance or operational activities
- Assist in Heli-deck operations / refueling / safety checks as instructed.
- Ensures all scaffolding equipment is in good working order as per QatarGas Scaffolding

procedures.
- Ensures that all Lifting equipment is in good working order as per QatarGas Lifting

Equipment procedures.
- To work with and assist all other platform personnel.
- Notifies the Deck Foreman if Safe Working practices not being adhered to.
- Performs Emergency Response Duties as directed by Senior Staff.
- HDA Helideck emergency response team member (HERTM).

Ideally you will have Higher Secondary Education with minimum of A minimum of 5 years work experience of sling loads and a minimum of 3 years at Oil and LNG Plant or Petrochemical plant environment.

**Relevant Work Experience**: Class A Certified Scaffolders. Experience and competency meets the requirement specified in QATARGAS Scaffold Procedure - P26-X03-28.

**English Language Skills**: Basic written and oral communication skills in English

**Trade Certificate / Specialized Trainings**: Certified Riggers / Slingers training certificate by RG
approved certifying authority.
- Work at height training. (Rescue trained at height), Fire Fighting training.
- H2S/HUET Trained and certified with Qatargas Work Management /PTW Training.

systems and lock out procedures applicable to LNG / Petrochemical plants / offshore oil
& Gas field isrequired.
- Familiar with and experienced in working with H2S rich processes and offshore environment.
