Part A: Job Specification

Job Purpose

To provide leadership and coordinates all aspects of Project Controls including reporting, progress measurement and schedule control. Monitors the EPC Contractor's execution performance in the area of scheduling, progress monitoring and provides advice as necessary to make sure the Company's objectives are achieved.

Key Accountabilities

(Duties include but not limited to)

Responsible for ensuring that proper and effective project control measures are executed by the EPC Contractor with particular emphasis on schedule planning and progress monitoring.

Coordinates the collecting, consolidating, analyzing and reporting of all Project schedule, progress measurement and control, trends to ensure overall project status is assessed and potential problem areas are identified.

Leads the monitoring and appraising performance of the EPC Contractor in the areas of progress measurement and schedule control.

Monitor EPC Contractor's performance and progress in areas of project controls, scheduling, reporting, progress monitoring assessing any discrepancies and reverting to Contractor for clarifications/corrections.

Coordinates preparation of weekly and monthly reports. Performs review and consistency checks of weekly and monthly reports prior to issuance.

Leads the review and evaluation of EPC Contractor's plans and procedures for project controls, progress, scheduling, and cost control and modifies as necessary to meet the project's objectives.

Reviews and, where appropriate, endorses schedule, progress and control budgets and forecast prepared by the EPC Contractor.

Leads reviews and endorses claimed progress reported by the EPC Contractor.

Assists Project Leadership Team in reviewing schedule corrective actions and recovery plans and making sure needed actions/plans are implemented.

Reporting and Relationships

Reports to the Head of Project Controls EPC-BOP.

Internal - Contact with all Major Projects Departments and other administration departments within QELNG. Interaction with NFXP Onshore Project Controls team of EPC-1, EPC-2, EPC3, EPC4 and Offshore to co-ordinate with for Interface Issues, Support Team.

External - Regular contact with EPC Contractor, its sub-contractors during the execution of the project.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

Understand the key project drivers and responsibilities, develop communication protocols, identify elements of project likely to give rise to disputes and claims, communicate and influence across the organisation to ensure delivery of project within the agreed timeframe.

Major challenges are: 1) completing detailed assessments of project controls, schedule, and recovery/rectification plans, in a high-pressure environment; 2) developing and sustaining relationships with EPC Contractor Project Controls personnel to ensure Company is provided with timely and the best available information to aid decision making.

Technical and Business Skills

Good organizational and execution skills.

Fluency in English.

Good Software skills: Primavera P6, Advanced excel.

Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP).

Strong coordination experience and good team skills

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering alternatively relevant experience in oil and gas industry.

Knowledge and/or Experience

Minimum of ten (10) years of major EPC project experience within the Oil and Gas Industry.

Minimum five (5) years' experience associated with engineering,

procurement, and construction of large onshore LNG plants.
- Broad experience in project controls, including cost, schedule, progress reporting, procurement, and change management.

Team player, flexible and experienced of working in a diverse team environment.
