As a Store Planning Officer, you will be responsible to perform the stores planning related tasks with replenishing and fulfilling stock and special order items for Qatar Aviation Services. Provide guidance to QAS stores team to drive continuous improvement in in-stock position, inventory performance and operational effectiveness. Works closely with Group Procurement, Stores Management, Expediting, Receiving, Local Vendors, and other members of QAS Engineering.- Provide guidance and coordinate with QAS Stores team on issuance of requested Items, receipts,stocktaking and stores support to operations.- Develop and review store inventory forecasts and track the inventory budgets within the area of responsibility, regularly monitor inventory status and ensure if any shortfall should be highlighted to store manager.- Provide relevant data to other QAS stake holders and propose solutions to enhance customer service support to operations.- Monitor and track order placement including employee uniform items, review and analyse order tracking metrics to optimize on-time shipping, fill rate, and lead time. Own and drive stock management metrics, key reports and advances their development. Use metrics to track and improve performance of replenishment and fulfilment processes.- Collaborate with the IT team on daily basis in order to implement all IT solution within the engineering stores through automation of key stores planning processes.- Support the development of improved administrative and storekeeping processes and procedures.- Reviewing of weekly reports like bulk orders / A& B (Fast Moving Items) category parts / PE (purchase enquiry / PR (Purchase request).**Be part of an extraordinary story**

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU:
- Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification- Minimum 6 years relevant experience

OR- Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level- Minimum 4 years relevant experience
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in Inventory Management
- Job Specific Skills: Essential
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to read and write English.
- Strong understanding of data and numerical aptitude. Strong strategic and tactical inventory management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must demonstrate good decision making skills and demonstrate accountability for own results.
- Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, and have strong process skills in time management and meeting deadlines. Must possess a proactive attitude.
- Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
