About the role
We are recruiting for Aircraft Mechanic - MOCC to be based in Doha, Qatar.
Aircraft Mechanic MOCC is responsible to communicate with various departments, carrying out tasks and monitoring of data to facilitate MOCC functionality. Review, control and monitoring of Technical logs, concessions, minimum Equipment List expiry/extension, outstation debriefs, shift action plan feedback. To carry out Ramp control functions, data archiving and flight spare kit functions.
Specific responsibilities of the role include:
Operational
- Review, control and monitor incoming Tech Log Pages, Defect history review & inform Fleet Support Engineer of recurrent defects in Technical Log.
- Review, control and monitor concessions in Aircraft Maintenance Production Planning System (AMPPS) and provide closure details to Quality assurance.
- Review, Control and Monitor MEL Expiry and alert Duty Manager I Fleet Support Engineer and arrange for MEL Repair Interval Extension (RIE) prior MEL expiry.
- To liaise with Duty Manager and Fleet Support Engineer to manage day to day operational requirements.
- To update Technical management of Delays/ Aircraft on Ground (AOG) through SMS.
- To compile MOCC Morning Report and update Technical Status Board for higher management review.
- To follow up for Bay Changes, Ground Power Unit, Air-Conditioning Cart, Towing and Flight Spare kit
- Requirements for efficient aircraft operation.
- Assist Fleet support Engineer during delays I Return to Stand / Very High Frequency (VHF) calls with Airman / Airplane Health Management/ Trax History data.
- To photograph damage details on aircraft and circulate the same to required sections.
- Carry out Ramp Controller duties which include co-ordination with line for day to day operations, coordination with space control and cabin maintenance for oxygen and Medical requirements. Monitor VHF and tetra radio for calls from crew and line maintenance.
- Review and control the requirements of Flight Spare Kit to meet the growth of fleet increase and to ensure it is achieved in a timely and safe manner acceptable to authorities and company quality standards.
- Assist Fleet Support Engineer on warranty issues and customer complaints for appropriate feedback.
- Record and maintain Incident reports and Incident register, provide assistance to warranty/insurance department.

About you
Qualifications:
High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience.
Previous Experience:
Experienced within MOCC / Line / Base maintenance environment.
