**Duties and Responsibilities**:
oil and gas experience is mandatory

Take responsibility for engineering tasks and perform associated calculations:

- Offshore structure design based on oil & gas standards (API, ABS, DBV, BV, Gl, Eurocodes, Shell DEP, etc.)
- Detailed Non-Linear FE analyses
- Write and check calculation notes, analysis reports, specification of materials.
- Liaise with material and equipment suppliers. Ensure Interface with the Client.
- Support the commercial department: writing of offers, presentation.
- Supervise and co-ordinate engineers and draughts men.
- Project Management: delivery, cost, operational schedule, reporting.
- Select and design the best technical solution relevant to offshore platforms.
- Follow up platform design carried out by sub-contractors.
- Coordinate design activities ensuring technical support during execution phases.
- Define tender documentation and carry out technical evaluation of tenders.
- Act as the Technical Authority and, if needed, the Technical Coordinator as far as structural aspects are concerned.
- Ensure interface between different Contractors and Certifying Authority.
- Liaises with project management team to identify the motives for any given work request, ensuring the scope of work agreed is suitable and the task is completed within the agreed time frame.
- Prepare/review design analyses, calculations, and procedures for structural in-service & pre-service engineering analyses
- Offshore Structural Calculations such as: in place, transportation, lifting, load-out, sea fastening/tie-down, installation, vessel deck layout and modification, ROV platform erection, etc.
- Pre-project and feasibility studies.
- Design and FEED studies.
- Detailed engineering packages
- Independent design verification analysis.
- Interface with equipment.
- Expertise in structural analysis, detailed fabrication, drawings.
- Expertise and analysis for Load out, transportation and installation of offshore structures.
- Research and development projects.
