- **Supervision and Management**:

- Supervise cargo handling operations, including loading, unloading, and storage of goods.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of cargo handlers, forklift operators, and other personnel.
- Ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company procedures and safety regulations.
- **Cargo Operations**:

- Oversee the proper handling, labeling, and documentation of cargo to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs and legal requirements.
- Monitor the loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage and ensure efficient use of space and equipment.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and condition, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
- **Staff Training and Development**:

- Train new employees on proper cargo handling techniques, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure all team members are aware of and adhere to safety standards.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action as necessary.
- **Inventory and Documentation**:

- Ensure all documentation is complete and accurately reflects the status and condition of the cargo.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and audits related to cargo operations.
- **Customer Service**:

- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate cargo operations and resolve any issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers regarding the status of their shipments.
- Address and resolve customer complaints related to cargo handling and delivery.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety, environmental, and customs requirements.

## **Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cargo handling, logistics, or warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in using cargo management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
