Sen Teacher

Doha Academy is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, adaptable and committed SEN Teachers to join our team. They will work closely with the Head of Inclusion in supporting specific children across the school. These positions are for a mid-August 2023 start.

**We are currently recruiting for August 2023, with interviews being arranged either in-person in Doha or online for international applicants.**

Applicants should have:

- BA in Education with QTS or BA Degree with PGCE
- Experience teaching the English National Curriculum for Primary Children
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or experiences to draw on from working with SEN children
- Good knowledge of current Special Education topics and pedagogy
- Ability to support teachers with creating IEPs
- Excellent behavior management skills and techniques and an understanding of how to motivate reluctant learners
- Ability to use ICT effectively and creatively as a tool for learning and assessment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with staff and parents
- A patient, resourceful and resilient personality
