**Department**
HSE (DCA)

**Primary purpose of job**
Support the implementation of the Radiation Protection Program for VI Operations and

assist the Senior Radiation Protection Officer on all matters relating to radiation.Inspect radiation sources and radiation

producing equipment’s and monitor radiation levels to ensure radiation use in the workplace is safe and that workers are
protected from unnecessary exposure.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Minimum Level-5 English proficiency with ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Minimum of 6 years as a Radiation Worker/Safety Technician including at least

3 years exposure in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
- Knowledge of using radiation equipment to carry out field radiation surveys and

contamination measurements
- Good investigation and analytical skills
- Good problem solving and motivational skills
- Ability to work under pressure during emergency situations
- Ability to obtain Qatar Driving License

**Education**
- Diploma (two years after high school) as a minimum in a discipline of

engineering or science.
- Successfully completed Radiation Safety Training course in industrial
- Successfully completed NORM Surveyor course.
- Valid licensing as a Radiation Worker by a Regulatory authority.
