**Summary**

A Counter Sales Associate handles all sales functions in a professional manner for customers by providing prompt and efficient service to achieve maximum sales and customer satisfaction.

A Cashier accurately processes customer transactions and maintain a high level of customer service. She is responsible for receiving payments, providing change, and answering questions related to store policies, products, and promotions.

**Your duties will consist of but will not be limited to**:

- Greet and assist customers.
- Build and maintain customer relationships and uphold their information.
- Receive inward phone calls. Develop new sales opportunities through calls.
- Give information regarding latest products/services and promotional offerings and putting up displays. Cross-sell items similar to the chosen product.
- Conduct client presentations for product marketing.
- Manage shelf stocking and pricing activities. Update all delivered stocks to ensure efficient record keeping.
- Monitor and replenish petty cash funds allocated for operations.
- Assist with picking/straightening up or arranging merchandise and housekeeping tasks to ensure neat, clean and safe working environment.
- Prepare sales invoices, receivables and payable. Prepare requests for suppliers' payments and follow up with check/cash vouchers. Prepare quotations, sales orders, cash sales and requests for credit.
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and printing that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor.
- Tackle and determine customer complaints in an opportune manner.
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Receive guest payments and process transactions.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
- Must learn and understand the training on all coffees preparations, to work as a barista when needed.
- Wear your name tag at all times in the outlet.
- Identify new recipes and propose them.
- Reports on technical issues and equipment maintenance.
- Any additional tasks as assigned by the Outlet Manager.

**Skills**
- **Customer Service**: Must consistently be able to assess, anticipate and meet guests' needs and respond quickly without losing focus or projecting a mood that detracts from guests' dining experience.
- **Communication**: Must clearly communicate in a professional manner with guests, vendors, coworkers and management. They must understand instructions, read written company memorandums, and communicate when he or she needs more direction.
- **Interpersonal Relationships**: Must adapt to different personalities of guests and coworkers without losing focus. Extreme familiarity or conflicts with coworkers often weaken a team-oriented work environment.
- **Sales Techniques and Customer Influence**: Must understand products and services and understand customer needs clearly.
- **Point Of Sale**: Must know how to operate/ manage POS machine and software.
- **Performing General Physical Activities**: Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- **Problem Solving and Conflict Management**: Must recognize a problem when it arises and be able to resolve it appropriately by using good judgment, tact and initiative according to company policy and procedure, with the supervision and approval of his or her superior.
- **Language Skills**: Must speak and write with excellent command of the English language including proper spelling and grammar.
