The AC Electrician for Heavy Vehicles is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and electrical systems in heavy vehicles, including trucks, buses, and construction equipment. The role involves diagnosing faults, ensuring efficient operation of AC systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation and Maintenance**: Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in heavy vehicles, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and related electrical components.
- **Diagnostics and Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system issues, electrical faults, and other related problems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- **Electrical Repairs**: Perform electrical repairs on vehicle components such as wiring, alternators, starters, and batteries.
- **Preventive Maintenance**: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on AC and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- **Compliance and Safety**: Adhere to safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job for reporting and billing purposes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other mechanics, technicians, and team members to ensure coordinated and efficient service delivery.
- **Training and Development**: Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in vehicle AC and electrical systems.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive electrical systems preferred.

**Experience**: Minimum of [X] years of experience as an AC Electrician or similar role in the heavy vehicle industry.

**Certifications**: Certification in automotive air conditioning (e.g., ASE) and electrical systems is an advantage.
