Phlebotomist

**About the role**

As Phlebotomist, you will support the newly established Qatar Airways Group Medical Commission Medical Laboratory Unit based at the QR Medical Centre.

Your primary responsibility will be to draw blood and specimen samples, whilst ensuring proper handling and transport for testing at the Medical Commission Laboratory.

Additional responsibilities include:
- Reassuring nervous patients and providing exceptional care- Ensure smooth scheduling and patient follow up- Working closely with the Medical Commission team and QR Medical Centre to maintain a clear and safe workspace- Supporting the implementation of infection control and risk management procedures

Qualifications

**About you**- Bachelor’s Degree with a Phlebotomy Degree and a minimum of 1-year job-related experience preferred- OR- High School Qualification with a Phlebotomy Degree a minimum of 2-years job-related experience- QCHP Licensed in Qatar as a Phlebotomist with some related experience

To be successful in this role, you should have training and certification from an accredited phlebotomy program, be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill in obtaining laboratory specimens and have the ability to work with computer system and computerized lab equipment.
