Job Title : General Health Practitioner

**Job Description**:
As a General Health Practitioner, you play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the well-being of individuals and communities. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Primary Duties:
1. Patient Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their medical history, current health status, and concerns. Listen attentively to their symptoms and complaints, and provide compassionate and empathetic care.

2. Diagnosis and Treatment: Utilize your medical expertise to accurately diagnose illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, which may include prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle changes, or referring to specialists.

3. Preventive Care: Emphasize the importance of preventive healthcare measures to patients, such as vaccinations, screenings, and health education. Encourage healthy lifestyle choices to prevent the onset of diseases and promote overall wellness.

4. Routine Examinations: Perform routine physical examinations to monitor patients' health and detect any potential issues early on. Conduct screenings for common health concerns, such as hypertension, diabetes, and cancer.

5. Chronic Disease Management: Assist patients in managing chronic conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis. Monitor their progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support and education.

6. Emergency Care: Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, including assessing the situation, stabilizing patients, and arranging for further treatment or hospitalization when needed.

7. Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and allied health staff, to ensure coordinated and integrated care for patients. Communicate effectively and share information to facilitate seamless transitions between healthcare providers.

8. Health Promotion: Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness awareness. Participate in public health campaigns, workshops, and seminars to educate the public on preventive measures and health-related topics.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
