**Overview of the position**

As a Consultant Engineer you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to HVAC, CIVIL, Electrical, Plumbing & drainage, Fire alarm/Firefighting.

**Drawings knowledge**

To be familiar with the different civil, electrical, plumbing and firefighting drawings and to make sure that all civil, electrical, mechanical, firefighting work carried out is as per the approved shop drawing.

**Civil Duties**
- Develop and execute project plans, considering timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure engineering designs meet project specifications, standards, and regulations. Oversee the construction phase, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor project budgets, control costs, and seek efficiencies in resource allocation.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring projects are delivered on time & within budget.
- Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure the highest standards in construction projects.
- Ensure projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, obtaining necessary permits and approvals (Civil Defence, Kahrama).
- Maintain a clear communication with owner, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with project progress.
- Address engineering challenges, conflicts, and unforeseen issues, proposing effective solutions.
- Foster collaboration between the different departments, and external stakeholders to promote seamless project execution.
- Identify areas for process improvement, implement best practices, and contribute to the company's overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on construction sites to ensure the well-being of workers and compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and correspondence.

**Electrical Duties**
- Minimum of 03 years of experience as electrical engineer in building Construction site supervision.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Good knowledge in reviewing drawing Knowledge in preparing load schedule, load distribution & load balancing.
- Knowledge of materials and specifications DBS, CABLES, SWITCHES, EARTHING, ISOLATORES POWER OUTLETS, PROTECTIONS.
- Testing and commissioning of following low voltage main distribution boards, sub main distribution boards, motor control centers, distribution boards including, bus bars, breakers, measuring devices, meters, indicators, Phase Barriers, Contactors, Timers, UVR,....etc.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders and manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in electrical operations and maintenance is mandatory.
- Skill / knowledge of International, Shell DEPs and/or standards related to his area of expertise and Design Software related to Electrical Engineering such as ETAP, CYME Model, etc.
- Experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and Hand-over activities is an added advantage.
- Be familiar with reading maps and specifications (DATA POINTS, CCTV CAMERAS).

**HVAC Duties**
- Develop detailed design calculations for HVAC, Plumbing, & Drainage Equipment, Flow sheets, Prepare engineering data sheets, specifications, Material Requisitions.
- Perform Vendor Communication, Vendor Drawings and Data review.
- Preparation of Engineering Drawings, Preparation of Reports, Project Site visit including.
- Prepare Control system drawings, schematics, Cause & Effect, and interface arrangements for HVAC Systems.
- Conduct engineering analysis and recommend technical solutions.
- Identify, resolve engineering issues which are critical for project schedule and cost.
- Review vendor documents, drawings, test procedure, certificates, operating manuals, design books and engineering data books in accordance with the project design specification and suggest recommendation.

**Plumbing & Firefighting Duties**
- Leading and carrying out complete Firefighting discipline designs to required standards and quality.
- Initiating and developing the concept designs with pioneering for complete Mechanical, Plumbing & Firefighting systems designs.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Preparing and generating spread sheets to carry out calculations.
- Conducting project meetings as required by the operations.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met in all designs.
- Allocating resources and time effectively.
- Have extensive experience in Plumbing and drainage, Water heater, Regulator filter, Mob & hand sinks with grease trap and water tank, Booster pump, Mixers, hand Sink, Mop Sink, and 3 Compartments sink.
