**Job description**

We are looking for a URGENT Vacancy for KAHRAMAA **Electrical Fitter **should be required with 5+ years of experience. As an Electrical Fitter, you will be building and wiring various types of special purpose machinery & control panels from start to finish. You will be wiring the machine systems following engineering drawings and schematics. As an Electrical Fitter, your duties will also include, point to point wiring, cable crimping, looming and terminating work. You will also be required to build cables, solder on connectors such as d-types using lead free soldering. Ability to use variety of crimping tools is absolutely essential for this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- High School Certification, or preferably with applicable technical certification in Electrical field.
- More than 5+ years in a experience in similar role.
- If have driving license is an added advantage.
- Must have valid Electrical Fitter license.

- Loom & harness wiring
- Point to point wiring, cable crimping & terminating work Cable assembly to IPC-A-620 standards.
- Ability to solder on various connectors such as d-types.
- Must be able to read engineering drawings and schematics.
- Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems.
- Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems.
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
- Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
- Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
- Conduct overhauls and repairs on Traction Motors, Alternators and Blower Motors
- Conduct static and dynamic testing of electrical equipment.
- Estimate, description of problems, and/or expected serviceability.
- Test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using various methods.
- Disassemble electro-mechanical equipment noting parts identification, configuration, and condition.
- Clean electro-mechanical equipment assemblies using various methods and steps, including, but not limited to: parts washers/steamers glass beads blasting, etc.
- Use precision measurement tools and equipment to determine serviceability and accurate notation of results.
- Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies, including, but not limited to: bearings, brushes, brush holders, motor leads, seals, impellers, mechanical switches, fans, coils, and shields.
- Re-test reassembled electro-mechanical equipment for proper output and operation.
- Prepare cost estimates for repair of products including description of the problem, and/or expected serviceability.
- Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis.
- Operate specialized repair and testing equipment and other equipment as needed.
- Lift, tighten, adjust, and/or secure heavy objects in order to perform work duties.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Participate in workplace inspections and safe work observations.
- Ensure mandatory PPE is applied. Undertake training required for the position.
- Ensure team compliance to GE Quality, EHS and other policies are adhered to at all times.
- Work with the team to ensure flexibility and responsiveness to deliver work in accordance with customer requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- HSC, SSLC, or ITI Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship
- Any other relevant electrical engineering qualifications

**Salary**: QAR2,500.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
