We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Doha for a:
Electrical Technician - Male

Job Purpose:
This position is a unique opportunity with so many advantage in oil and gas career sector in one of the most important Project handled by SPIE in Qatar with QatarEnergy in which the Contract passed 08 years with multi discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of large Industrial Area

A new contract for 05 years been awarded

Reading drawings, Single line diagram, general maintenace of different electrical systems and equipment (HV, LV, Power transformers, Protection relays, earth and grounding systems, UPS, Capacitor banks),

Written communication, Active listening, Verbal communication, editing.

Organization, Time management, Attention to detail, Problem-solving,

Computer literacy essential and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.

Your main duties will be to:

- Plant maintenance experience on HV Substations, switchboards up to 6.6kV, motors, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), thyristor rectifiers, and general plant electrical utilities are required. Experience that includes PLCs, HVAC, instrumentation and the use of computer-based man-machine interfaces is preferred. Switching and operating experience on plant at 415V, 6.6kV, 11KV, 33kV and 132kV is highly desirable.

You will be demanded to realize the following activities and tasks
- Troubleshooting of all kind of electrical trips & alarm (HV, LV, Power transformers, etc..)
- Application of general maintenance (Insulation resistance, winding resistance, busduct, etc...
- Interlock system LOTO
- Routine test and inspections of electrical system and equipment

**Your profile**:
Ideally you will have diploma in engineering from a recognized
institution with 5 year experience or a Irade certificate with 10 year experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry or in a similar system I facility.

Experience required in numerical relay protection, transformer maintenance, MV and HV cable jointing and repair, vacuum breaker maintenance, MV motor maintenance and operation and maintenance of MV motor

Staff selected for this position shall have good spoken in English.

**Desired level of study**: E-Bachelor or equivalent
**Minimum experience**: 6 years or more
**Working language(s)**: English (D-Full professional proficiency)
