1. Teach courses in the areas of Inorganic Chemistry & General Chemistry.

2. Write research proposals and initiate high-quality research in the area of applied Inorganic Chemistry.

3. Contribute to various committees at the Program, College, and University levels.

4. Contribute to the College's research profile by establishing a research program and publications.

5. Contribute to developing new curricula and research areas;
6. Participate in enhancing the international visibility of QU through participation in international scientific events and building collaborations with worldwide peer academic institutions.

7. The Head of the Department assigns other responsibilities.

**Qualifications**:
1. Ph.D. in Chemistry/ Specialty: Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized/ranked university.

3. Teaching experience in both theory and laboratory classes for at least three years after the PhD.

4. Experience with classroom implementation of student-centered pedagogies, including utilization of advanced technology in teaching.

5. The ability to attract external and internal funding.

6. Commitment to working with teams.

7. Awareness of working with people from diverse backgrounds.

8. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. The ability to communicate in Arabic is an advantage.

- 3. Teaching, research, and service philosophy.
- 5. Copy of highest earned credential (transcript of highest degree if graduated from an institution where course work was completed. However, if no coursework was completed, a copy of the certificate letter from the registrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding your highest academic degree).
