With the strategic rapid growth of our luxury brands in Qatar at IHG Hotels and Resorts, we are looking for a seasoned Spa & Recreation Attendant with luxury and lifestyle brand hotel experiences to join our team in Doha.

Just a stone’s throw from the many favourite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel will welcome guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options.

Here are your day-to-day essential duties:

- Monitor and ensure hygiene and cleanliness of both front and back of house areas. Regularly check on the gym, changing rooms, and lockers; ensure they are clear of litter and used towels.
- Help guests - you’ll be happy to help if someone needs a towel or directions, for example.
- Keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed.
- Safety aware - follow our established safety procedures at all times - and wear protective equipment when needed.
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
- May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Welcome guests to the Spa & Gym and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Ensure adequate linen, supplies, and amenities; inform management of low stock.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and guest courtesy at all times.
- Reference and abide by the spa’s Operating Procedures and Policies Manual.
- Bring linen to and from the spa’s back of the house.
- Clean and maintain spa, yoga and gym areas, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Support the guest services team with a public area setup.
- Attend to guest needs as they arise.
- Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
- Communicate to management any details regarding the guest experience that require attention. Report any equipment issues to management.
- Accomplish concise handover to relay key information to the Spa Attendant who is beginning their shift.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
- Maintain the weight and cardiovascular fitness areas ensuring equipment is clean, functioning correctly, and used according to the facility’s guidelines.
- Maintain attendance records and ensure all guests have registered in the facility.
- Follow departmental policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
