**GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION**:
1. Receive all goods of the company ensuring deliveries correspond to purchase orders and specifications with regards to quality, quantity, and price.
2. Manage the distribution of goods according to store requisitions, monitoring of par stocks and safe and orderly storage.
3. Maintain order trackers to ensure timely delivery of service.
**POSITION DESCRIPTION IN DETAIL**:
**SPECIFIC TASKS**
- Maintaining records of goods ordered and received.
- Receive goods and checking correctness of purchase order, quality, price, and shelf life.
- Conducting an inspection on the receipt of delivery from suppliers to verify the quality and quantity of materials received against specifications and units ordered.
- Complete hygiene and safety checks of vehicles supplying deliveries and ensure proper documentation.
- Review deliveries and report to Procurement Manager on any non-conforming suppliers/incorrect supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the receiving area and adhere to proper hygiene standards.
- Liaise with the Maintenance in-charge regarding the maintenance of the receiving area and the servicing/calibration of any equipment i.e. weighing scales.
- Prepare daily receiving reports for all goods received in the system.
- Responsible for submitting invoices for signature to the department heads.
- Responsible for posting invoices in the system as per the company standards.
- Store all goods as per company’s policies and procedures, ensuring goods are stored in the correct temperature-controlled environment, off the floor and in a manner that will maintain their quality.
- Notify and coordinate with the relevant departments of the receipt of goods and arrange for their collection.
- Distributes products/supplies to departments as per duly completed store requisitions.
- Inform the Procurement Manager of orders to be placed according to the needs and the stock status.
- Overseeing the supply chain management.
- Communicating with suppliers and to make sure supplies get where they need to be when they need to be, even when a deadline is tight.
- Performs liaising to ensure products and equipment arrive in good condition.
- Attending meetings to stay up to date on the company's objectives.
**Salary**: From QAR4,500.00 per month
