1. **Financial Recordkeeping**:

- Maintain and update accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reports.
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions, including bank transactions and credit card statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.

2. **Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights into trends, variances, and performance metrics to support decision-making processes.
- Generate financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities as required.

3.**Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts by providing insights into revenue projections, expense trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor budgetary performance against targets and provide regular updates to management on budget variances and financial risks.

4. **Tax Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements, including income tax, VAT/GST, and other applicable taxes.
- Prepare and file tax returns accurately and timely, and coordinate with external tax advisors or auditors as needed.

5. **Audit and Compliance**:

- Support external auditors during annual audits by providing requested documentation, explanations, and reconciliations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure data integrity, and mitigate financial risks.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

6. **Financial Analysis**:

- Conduct financial analysis to assess profitability, liquidity, solvency, and efficiency ratios to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred.
- Proven experience as an accountant or financial analyst, preferably in a similar industry or organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
