**Position Overview**:
As a **Chef de Partie** at Wonder Palace Hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen. and to ensure the smooth operation, delivering high-quality dishes in a timely manner. Your dedication to culinary excellence and strong leadership will be key to maintaining our high standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of your designated section (e.g., grill, pastry, sauce, fish, or other sections).
- Prepare, cook, and present food to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper techniques and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in ordering and inventory management, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stocked.
- Work closely with other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service, prioritizing efficiency and collaboration.
- Ensure consistency and quality control in every dish leaving the kitchen.
- Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and special events when required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations and processes.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end or busy kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality during busy service hours.
- A passion for food and a desire to continuously learn and grow in the culinary arts.
- Formal culinary education or equivalent experience is preferred.
