Position Title: Part-Time Offshore Mobile App Development Consultant

Location: Remote (Offshore)

**Job Type**: Part-time, Consultant (Contract)

Compensation: Competitive, Based on Experience

Duration: Project-Based, with Potential for Extension

Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Project Assessment & Planning:
Identify key areas for improvement, optimization, and feature completion.

Develop a strategic plan to guide the app's development through to completion.

Development & Implementation:
Collaborate closely with the internal development team to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

Lead the development efforts in Flutter, ensuring best practices and high-quality code standards are followed.

Integrate Firebase for backend services, including real-time databases, cloud storage, authentication, and analytics.

Implement and integrate RESTful APIs to enhance the app's functionality and connect with external services.

Ensure the app meets all necessary requirements for iOS app store submission, including performance and security.

API Integration:
Work with third-party APIs to extend the app’s capabilities and ensure seamless communication between the app and external services.

Troubleshoot and optimize API calls for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Document all API integrations and maintain clear communication with third-party service providers as necessary.

Troubleshooting & Optimization:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

Optimize the app for speed, scalability, and user experience.

Implement testing protocols to ensure the app's stability and reliability.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of the development process, including code, architecture, API integrations, and decision-making.

Provide regular progress updates to the project stakeholders.

Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with the internal team to ensure long-term maintainability of the app.

Qualifications:
**Experience**:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile app development, specifically in Flutter and Firebase.

Technical Skills:
Expertise in Flutter for cross-platform mobile development.

In-depth knowledge of Firebase services including Firestore, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Firebase Analytics.

Strong understanding and experience in API integration and handling RESTful web services.

Proficiency in iOS development and familiarity with the App Store submission process.

Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other mobile development frameworks and languages (e.g., Swift, Kotlin) is a plus.

Previous experience working as an offshore consultant for international clients.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
