**Structural Designer with Steel and Structural Background**

**Job Summary**:
The Structural Designer with a Steel and Structural Background is responsible for creating detailed structural designs and drawings specifically for steel structures. This role involves collaborating with engineers and other team members to develop efficient and effective designs that adhere to project specifications and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design and Drafting**: Create detailed structural designs and drawings for steel structures using CAD software and other design tools.
- **Material Specification**: Select appropriate materials and detailing techniques for steel structures to ensure safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with structural engineers, architects, and project managers to develop design concepts and ensure designs meet project requirements.
- **Structural Analysis**: Perform structural analysis and calculations specifically for steel components and connections to ensure the integrity and safety of designs.
- **Documentation**: Prepare and review design documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports, focusing on steel structure requirements.
- **Standards Compliance**: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, particularly those related to steel structures.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct design reviews and participate in quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of steel designs.
- **Site Visits**: Conduct site visits as needed to gather information, assess conditions, and support project implementation for steel structure projects.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to steel structures to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum [X] years of experience in structural design with a strong emphasis on steel structures, preferably in [industry/sector].
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis tools (e.g., STAAD, ETABS) with specific experience in designing steel structures.
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of steel structural design principles, materials, and construction methods.
- **Certification**: Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards it is a plus.

**Requirements**:

- Male - Any Nationality
- Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Structural, Civil, Design or related
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Structural Design with a strong emphasis on steel structures
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis tools (e.g., STAAD, ETABS).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural design principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards it is a plus.
- Residing in Qatar with valid QID
- Contract Duration: Long Term
- Salary: QR 7000-8000 full package
- Immediate joiner

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
