**Key Responsibilities**:

- **MEP Drawing Creation**:

- Produce detailed and accurate MEP drawings for oil and gas facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (HVAC, fire protection, lighting, power distribution, drainage, etc.).
- Create 2D and 3D layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software to represent MEP systems and equipment in line with project specifications.
- Work from initial sketches, design data, and specifications to prepare technical drawings, ensuring all details are accurately represented.
- **Design Support & Coordination**:

- Collaborate with engineers and other project team members to review design concepts, technical specifications, and functional requirements for MEP systems.
- Assist in coordinating MEP drawings with other disciplines, including structural and civil, ensuring proper integration and no clashes during installation.
- Revise and update drawings as required during project phases, reflecting design changes and client requests.
- **Compliance & Standards**:

- Ensure that all MEP drawings comply with local regulations, safety codes, industry standards, and environmental guidelines (e.g., ASME, ISO, NEC, API).
- Verify that designs adhere to industry-specific requirements and the latest technological advancements in the oil and gas sector.
- Regularly review technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- **Documentation & Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain organized records of all technical drawings, revisions, and specifications.
- Keep track of changes in design and ensure all team members are working with the latest version of the drawings.
- Prepare and manage project documentation such as schedules, specifications, and material lists.
- **Site Coordination & Field Support**:

- Assist with site visits and inspections, providing technical support and reviewing installations to ensure they match the MEP design drawings.
- Resolve issues encountered during the construction or installation phases by providing necessary drawing revisions and guidance to site personnel.
- Work closely with construction and operations teams to ensure accurate interpretation of the MEP designs.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, civil, structural) and external vendors to ensure that the MEP systems are designed and implemented efficiently.
- Regularly communicate with project managers and senior engineers to track progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and updates for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that all designs and drawings are produced with high levels of accuracy and meet the required quality standards.
- Perform regular checks on work to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors before the final submission.
