INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

**Primary purpose of job**
Responsible for the overall planning and execution of the ICT department's cloud adoption and strategic cloud roadmap.

Facilitate the communities of practice throughout QatarEnergy and foster a culture of continuous cloud improvement,

modernization, innovation, and digitalization.

**Experience & Skills**
A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT environment, with

least 5 years of demonstrated cloud technology management and adoption

specifically in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and/or Data Center as a Service

(DCaaS) and/or SAP HANA migration and transformation with Oil and Gas industry

experience is an asset.

In depth knowledge and extensive experience of cloud management, planning and

execution.

Good to have the cloud related professional certifications i.e., Microsoft Azure,

Google, AWS & Cloud Security etc.

Demonstrates a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Operates independently using mature judgment in planning and performing

assignments and achieving defined objectives.

Excellent people management, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and

decision-making skills.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and communicate with a multi-cultural and

multi-national workforce.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate

concepts as appropriate to customers, contractors, and staff.

**Education**
Bachelor’s degree (required) and Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an

appropriate Engineering/Business field.
