_**HOUSING ASSISTANT_Job Description**_
1. Assists the Housing Supervisor and Housing staff in day to day administration of Housing and Facilities Management, including administration of Alkhor Housing, Housekeeping and maintenance contracts etc.
2. Maintains recording and updating of all changes in allocation of housing
3. Complying of Housing services database which includes maintenance of Housekeeping contracts, work orders etc.
4. Process and records of Housing procedures beginning from the allocation of rooms and providing its facilities, and coordinating of the moves IN and OUT of corporate accommodations. This also includes all CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT inspections along with monitoring of regular inspection of vacant housing.
5. Processes and follows up various Housing Services like Telephone & Internet Line connection, Water & Electricity, TV and Satellite dish installations and maintenance of Company provided appliances in the Housing facilities.i.e. Flats Accommodation and Clubhouses facilities etc.
6. Coordinates and follows up with Al-Khor Housing Complex administration regarding various Housing and Facilities related matters.
7. Keeps record of acquisition, inventory and control of household furnishing as applicable.
8. Process and follows up maintenance work orders as per instructions. Preserves various housekeeping, gardening, maintenance, repairs and other pacts.
9. Complies with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
10. Conducts all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner by not taking on any tasks(s) that are perceived as unsafe and if doubt, consult Housing Supervisor/Manager before proceeding.
11. Reports all accidents, incident or near misses to Supervisor/Manager or to the QHSE Department if Supervisor/Manager is not available.
12. Ensures availability of Office Stationeries.
13. The “Normal Working Hours” will be ten (10) hours per day viz. six (6) days per Week and required to work in shifts in accordance with company requirements.
14. Ready to work extra hours any time. Day or night, any day of the Week including Friday and all holidays required by Company. Only actual approved hours shall be claim for over time.
15._ **Educational Requirements/Qualifications**:_(Formal education and professional qualifications and associations)
- Secondary School Education (12th) / Higher Secondary Certificate or Diploma
**Experience**: (Years required for an acceptable level of performance)
- 5 Years in Administration Assistant Job with ‘busy’ work schedule, preferably with Oil & Gas companies.
- Good Interpersonal skills, integrity and adaptability to accept multi tasks.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
