**Immunology Senior Consultant Physician**

**Package**:
**OVERSEAS SENIOR CONSULTANT PHYSICIAN CONTRACT**:
**Basic Salary**:The **offered amount is the discretion of the employer.**

**Transport Allowance: 1250 QAR per month.**

**Mobile Allowance: 300 QAR per month.**

**Market Allowance: Estimated **+/- 30 % of monthly basic salary.**

**Professional Allowance: Estimated **+/- 15 % of the monthly basic salary.**

**Accommodation**: Provided.(if applicable)

**Annual Leave**: 50 calendar days.

**Air passage Entitlement**: Business Class - for yourself & family (spouse and up to 3 children up to 18 years old (joining, annual leave & repatriation). _Provided that he/she obtained residence permit for them under your sponsorship, if applicable._

**Conference entitlement**: Yearly Conference (after completion of 18 months in service maximum of 9 days, not debitable to your annual leave entitlement) with free business class round-trip ticket.

**School Assistance**: 21 000 QAR (maximum) per child per academic year. Up to 3 children (ages from 5 years up to 18 years of age and provided that they are studying in a private school in Doha), will be made upon submission of the appropriate receipts and will cover basic tuition fees only (if applicable). _Provided you obtained residence permit for them under your sponsorship._

**Baggage Allowance**: Unaccompanied baggage of 50 kg for yourself and up tp 200 kg for family on joining and 100 kg for yourself and 250 kg for family on repatriation to be reimbursed at standard rate.

**Australia & New Zealand**:Fellow of the Royal Australia and New Zealand Colleges. Experience Required: Min 6 years and 6 Months

**Canada** - RCPS-C Certified as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Experience Required: Min 6 years and 6 Months

**Germany**: Facharzt or German Board Experience Required: Min 9 Years

**Italy**: Diploma of Specialized doctor granted by Italian university. Experience Required: Min 8 Years

**Spain**:Titulo de Especialista Experience Required: Min 8 Years

**Sweden**:Bevis om Specialistcompetens Experience Required: Min 8 Years

**U.S.A** - Certified by American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)**.** Experience Required: Min 1 Year Consultant + 7 years

**U.K**:
CCT/CCST AND Fellowship _or_ MRCP Experience Required: Min 6 Years and 6 Months

**_ or_** CESR Experience Required: Min 9 Years

**IRELAND**:
CSD AND Fellowship _or_ MRCP Experience Required: Min 6 Years and 6 Months

**MEDICAL LICENSE**:
You must have a valid primary license from the country of origin AND you should be eligible for license from the licensing authority in the State of Qatar to practice as a healthcare profession.

- The Senior Consultant is the most senior doctor (apart from the Department Chair and/or Section Head) who practices in a specific specialty and has oversight responsibility for his team of Consultants and junior doctors and manages other team members. The Senior Consultant is responsible for the care of all patients admitted under his name and for all the clinical decisions made by other doctors under his supervision.
Ability to relate well to others and use interpersonal skills to achieve desired objectives, recognizing the need to represent both the clinical work and the team.
In addition to providing high quality patient care (diagnose, treat, manage and admit patients under his name) as delineated by his clinical privileges, the Senior Consultant works closely with department chair and/or section head on management issues (such as service development, funding, budgets, and staffing), on the teaching and training of junior doctors, and on academic and research priorities.
In essence, the Senior Consultant is required to have professional clinical competence, leadership and management skills.
