Manager Due Diligence Operations

**Role Objective**

To lead and manage CDD Operations team in accordance with the banks CDD policy and procedures, effectively manage and optimize the banks centralized Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process customer onboarding, CDD periodic reviews and trigger event reviews. Oversee/manage the banks CDD remediation process.

**Detailed Roles and Responsibilities**
- To lead and manage CDD Operations team within operations department.
- Supervise day-to-day CDD operations unit function.
- Ensure regular update, verification of Corporate, FI’s & Treasury customers. & Retail customers onboarding.
- Ensure customers data integrity in the systems is preserved and enhanced in line with CDD policy and procedures.
- Establish a tailored CDD processes to meet the bank requirements covering both the customer onboarding & periodic reviews.
- Prepare & implement relevant operational policies (SOP) and processes for customer onboarding in accordance with regulatory authority & internal compliance requirements.
- Work closely with all the stakeholders to introduce, develop and implement automated KYC process to ensure quality KYC & customer due diligence verification.
- Delivering day-to-day functions requirement, resolve issues, queries and disputes as required.
- Prepare reports, periodic MIS, attend meetings & deliver department presentations as required.
- Ensure that all the issues identified by internal/ externa audits, regulatory authority are attended and resolved on time.
- Conduct a regular review on the demand from business and capacity of the CDD team to effectively resource, meet business objectives and ensure the right level of support.
- Prepare, Design and implement the daily CDD operations tracking, monitoring and effective escalation mechanism.
- Optimize the customer CDD lifecycle in accordance with the banks CDD policy and procedures and input from the compliance division CDD Advisory Unit.
- Oversee and manage the banks CDD process re customer onboarding across all channels, conduct periodic reviews and trigger event reviews in accordance with input from the CDD Advisory Unit.
- Oversee the remediation of identified CDD deficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with agreed CDD deliverables and relevant SLA/TATs.
- Optimize and manage the banks CDD remediation initiatives.
- Develop appropriate MIS metrics and reporting framework.
- Train & Coach junior staff on regular basis.
