**Job Description**:

- Familiarity with local regulations and requirements in relation to roads and traffic solutions
- Familiarity with traffic modelling requirements,
- Ability to conceive/review earthworks, roads, and utilities solutions for the development of new areas.
- Offer technical advice on buildability and value engineering solutions,
- Ability to write scope of works and Employer requirements technical documents for roads and utilities works
- Review construction documents and highlight any design discrepancies from standards/best practice/systems suitability
- Work with PMCM and CS consultants and manage their technical work input / deliverables
- Work with Consultants from the client to review earthworks, roads, drainage networks and water supply systems/solutions proposed
- Familiarity with structural design of industrial buildings is an added plus
- Ensure that the consultants and contractors coordinate with all concerned authorities, departments, and ensure that their requirements are adequately and satisfactorily incorporated
- Participate where needed in authorities interfacing to facilitate process, suggest intermediate solutions

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree in Civil Engineering
- Member of a professional body as a certified civil/structural engineer
- No less than 20 years experience in design and construction roles, including at least 10 years in senior/managerial roles
